PPCC’s Latino Alliance is providing our college community with rich cultural experiences and discussions. Co-chair of the Alliance, Fabiola Lopez, celebrates the integral support of the group and what it provides for our student body. Lopez encourages others to join and share in the discussions. For her, the Latino Alliance really provides the following:

  • a safe, welcoming, and supportive platform from which Latino(a) students and staff alike can be seen, heard, and supported at PPCC
  • a group of allies who support, advance and voice Latino(a) student needs
  • advocates for students/staff issues that directly impact Latino(a)s at PPCC
  • a voice of Latino(a) students/staff at PPCC
  • build bridges where barriers currently exist
