Dreaming of doctoring? Excited for exercise science? Strategizing for surgical skills? Future physicians, pharmacy techs, dental assistants, nurses and more should attend the Health Sciences Fair on Wed., Feb. 26 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Rampart Range Campus Atrium.

Students can visit with representatives from different health sciences programs in Colorado. Meet with PPCC representatives for: Allied Health, Dental Assisting, Medical Assisting, Nursing Assistant, Nursing (RN and BS), Pharmacy Technician, Radiology Technician (UC Memorial Health) and Surgical Technology.

Representatives from other area schools are also scheduled to attend, including CSU-Pueblo Health Sciences in Nursing, Athletic Training and Exercise Science; Western State University in Exercise and Sport Science, Pre-Med and Pre-Physical Therapy; UCCS in Nursing and MS in Health Promotion; and UC Denver in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.

The Health and Sciences Division at PPCC is comprised of 24 departments working to meet the PPCC mission of providing high quality educational opportunities to all with a focus on student success and community needs. PPCC can provide students the kind of advanced training they’ll need to enter a variety of professions in the ever-expanding, high-paying fields of healthcare.

Students applying to a PPCC healthcare program, pursuing a pre-professional degree program or transferring for a health-related degree are encouraged to attend the event.
