Last weekend PPCC Math Professors Shawna Mahan and Jennifer Holmes took four students and Learning Commons Math tutors to the Rocky Mountain Mathematics Association of America’s 101st Annual meeting at University of Northern Colorado.

Students participated in and won the Jeopardy competition (a math version based on the long-running TV show).

“It was really exciting to be there with them and witness their success in the game,” Holmes said.

The student winners are Mickey Jackson, Centennial Campus Lead Tutor; Troy Johnson,  Rampart Range Math Center Tutor; Jonathon Ramirez, Rampart Range Math Center Tutor; and, Caleb Maftei, Rampart Range Math Center Tutor.

Tomorrow, engage in more Math fun at the Mathematics Colloquium at Rampart Range Campus from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
