Nearly 300  jobs for students are available at PPCC.

These jobs, paid for through a student’s financial aid, are called Work Studies and they pay students for doing things they like or need experience with.

The Work Study lasts all school year. Summer Work Studies  stand alone.

Students get paid anywhere from $9.30 to $12.50 per hour, depending on the job and the hours range from 15 to 20 hours a week. Students get paid every other week, and the money is paid directly to them, in order to help with room and board.

Interested students should start the process of becoming a work study by filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and the Colorado Opportunity Fund (COF), Scholarships and loans. If you want to be considered for a work study make sure to select yes on the FAFSA. The work study is assigned on a needs basis.

Work Studies are available throughout the semester.  If interested, head over to the Student-Jobs page under career services of the main PPCC home page.

This will load up a page that says Jobs and Internships. Student Employment (on campus) is on the left-hand side and Jobs and Internship (external) on the right-hand side.
