On Tuesday, Oct. 11, Student Life is putting on Drag Queen Charity Bingo in the Centennial Campus Theater. A pre-game will take place from 4pm-5pm and will provide an opportunity to take pictures and grab a mocktail and snack. Bingo will run from 5pm-7pm.
Unlike traditional bingo, drag queens will be the ones calling out the numbers and adding a lively performance to the game. Participants are encouraged (but not required) to dress up in the theme of mythical forest creatures. Tickets cost $5 per person. All proceeds will go to Inside Out Youth Services — a local non-profit for LGBTQIA2+ youth.
The charity’s mission is to support LGBTQIA2+ young people by improving opportunity, access and power through leadership, education, and community building efforts.
