Parley Publishing, PPCC’s publication group, showcases writing, art, journalism, scholarship and graphic design – all made, curated, and edited by students. All publications are currently looking for submissions.

  • The OG standard is Parley, the open literary and arts journal for all students. Parley publishes each semester—online in the fall and in-print in the spring. Parley’s mission is to provide students the opportunity to show off their talent and use their voice no matter their experience.
  • SITREP collaborates with Military & Veterans Programs and the Expressive Arts Project at PPCC to honor the stories of military service members, veterans, and their families. Anyone is welcome to publish here—staff, faculty, students, or the community at large. The publication includes personal accounts and interviews of people who have served or are serving, and stories from military families.
  • The Paper is PPCC’s final publication. Here, students can read about the news or partake in the EXPO or the LAHF. The EXPO showcases student scholarship throughout the year, and the Liberal Arts and Humanities Forum (LAHF) highlights and promotes projects in the humanities disciplines.

Parley accepts submissions during the Fall and Spring semesters from a wide selection of genres including: fiction, nonfiction, poetry, or one-act plays. Visual art submissions entail drawings, paintings, photography, digital/graphic art, and art/writing collaborations.
