On April 4th, outer planets Jupiter and Pluto make a rare conjunction in Capricorn.

Simply put, a conjunction is when planetary bodies align in the same degree of the same sign, strengthening their energies. This particular Jupiter/Pluto conjunction only happens every 13 years, so it’s kind of a big deal.

Jupiter is the planet of the higher mind, i.e.: the systems of thought that elevate our thinking and expand our worldview. College, religion, philosophy, and travel all fall under the planet’s rule, so too does big business and foreign trade. Pluto, on the other hand, is the planet of transformation and renewal. It influences mass groups of people and organizations, focusing its energy towards breaking down and permanently altering the systems no longer work. Earth sign Capricorn deals with all types of business, administration, and industry, dealing with the building and organization of form, structure, and all things money and material.

More than likely, supply and distribution concerns will swell as a result of the conjunction, and a spotlight will fall on scarcity, particularly as it relates to healthcare and/or the economy (two social institutions that fall under Pluto’s and Capricorn’s umbrellas of rulerships).

On a more positive note, this conjunction can infuse us with  the drive to give and share resources even amidst our own scarcity. From the ashes of this major conjunction could rise an absolute faith in the future of humanity, or a dogged distrust of business leadership.

Either way, transformation is in the making. What transpires depends on the goals of the collective. If those in power act ethically, we will benefit both spiritually and materially.

It’s no doubt, these are unprecedented times, so stay safe and stay home unless you absolutely have to go out. And remember: We’re all in this together.
