Network security provides layers of security at the edge and in a network which only allows authorized access to users and blocked access from users that are trying to threaten the network. There are many types of network security some are VPNS, Firewalls and wireless security.
My topic teaches others to always have a secure network so you can protect your information . This relates to protecting your information outside of computers as well because you don’t want people to know everything about you unless you allow them.
This is a cool example of network security; This image [above] enplanes how we can protect the earth from anything outside of it from coming in just like we can protect our computer information.
“As we’ve come to realize, the idea that security starts and ends with the purchase of a prepackaged firewall is simply misguided.”– Stephane Nappo
This is a graph [above] shows the top network security that are in use now and at the top is firewall (which is most in use) which tells you how important having one is.
“Passwords are like underwear: you don’t let people see it, you should change it very often, and you shouldn’t share it with strangers.” –Chris Pirillo
I have learned that with how much technology there is these days that we should always have strong security within our networks so information we want to hide, or our work information isn’t vandalized from an outsider.
Overall having security is the most important thing you need if you have a computer. The Pikes peak community college is a good example of a network security by them making us put in are S numbers and passwords before we can event enter the site
