Student Captures Super Blue Blood Moon

The Super Blue Blood Moon powered the sky on Jan. 31^st. The rare lunar phenomenon, a combination of a Blue Moon, a Blood Moon and a Super Moon, has not been seen in America since 1866, according to NASA.

PPCC photography student, Adam Ross, captured the moment in an array of stunning pictures.

Ross, 22, has been photographing for six years.

“I just love astronomy,” Ross said.

His parents gave him images of the Hubble Space Telescope when he was a kid, which fueled his passion.

Eventually, Ross plans to work as an ophthalmic photographer, taking photographs of people’s retinas.

Ross graduates from PPCC in December 2018.
