Join the PPSC Creative Writing Program and the Latino Alliance as they welcome a night of poetry and prose in the Mulliken Black Box Theater, 22 N. Sierra Madre St., on March 20, beginning at 5 p.m.

Kicking off with a Know-Your-Rights and Advocacy Workshop, and ending with Colorado’s poet laureate, Bobby LeFebre, the evening promises engaging and interesting pieces for the PPSC audience. The event is open to the public and welcomes multilingual poets and writers. Entry is a suggested donation of clothing, sundries, or non-perishable food items to benefite the Canvas Community Food Pantry.

The night will be broken up into different segments:

5-6 p.m. Know Your Rights and Advocacy Workshop; refreshments courtesy of Student Experience and Equity
6-7 p.m. Student/Faculty/Nearby Universe* Reading & Open Mic**
7-8 p.m.Poet Laureate Bobby LeFebre Reading and Keynote
