The Foundation for Advancement and Education (FAE) offers annual scholarships for local students. Now is the time to work on the application before its due on April 1, 2026. This organization provide this opportunity, and many PPSC students have been recipients over the years.

FAE emerged from a collaboration between the Concilio Hispano de Empresas of Colorado Springs Foundation and the Esperanza Foundation. Recognizing the evolving needs of our community, particularly in education and workforce development, we conducted comprehensive research to identify organizations willing to collaborate without duplicating existing services, according to its website.
The organization’s objective is to catalyze positive educational outcomes across multiple domains: leadership development, business education, workforce readiness, vocational training, higher education, career transition support, business financial literacy, occupational rehabilitation, and cultural arts engagement.
What to know:
- must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
- must be an El Paso or Teller County resident
- university/college scholarships are due April 1, 2026
- vocational or certification program scholarships are due April 1, Aug 1, & Dec 1, 2026
